Located in Buffalo, Wyoming and Santa Fe, New Mexico, our company  
began operations in 2006, initially providing federal oil and gas permitting 
and environmental consulting services to the Powder River Basin. Since 
then, our team has grown to over 35 technical professionals including  
wildlife biologists, botanists, geographical information systems (GIS) an-
alysts, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) specialists, oil and gas 
permitting, cultural resource specialists, and hydrologists. This diversity  
allows our team to manage a wide variety of projects throughout Wyoming, 
Montana, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico. 
 
GMEC has extensive experience working with private industry, federal, state 
and tribal entities on a variety of natural resource related projects. Combined 
with backgrounds in farming and ranching, many team members worked 
prior with government agencies including NRCS, USFS, BLM, USFWS, and 
WY-DEQ, allowing GMEC to facilitate cooperation between all parties and 
aid in the development of mutually approved plans.
